The bike was so hyper, while rolling it around the shop floor, it was difficult to prevent spinning the tires with slight touch of the throttle, evident by the stripes on the floor.   There must be some adjustment we can make...  

 

March 08 2008 update:                                                                              

The over hyper throttle issue has been resolved.  A voltage regulator for the throttle control unit and a software setting change in each motor controller solved the problem. This problem was the result of having 2 controllers sharing a common throttle control resistor. 

It can now crawl around at walking speed with 100% torque available the instant  the throttle is twisted.   At this low speed, it makes so little noise, you can carry a conversation with your riding buddy on the trail in front of you, as if you were just walking together, walking with helmets on, that is.
